I'm Stephanie.  I'm so glad that you're here.  In June of 2020, my youngest son died at the age of 18.  While everything below is still part of who I am, if you really want to know me, you can follow me over at lifeaftertommy.com where I talk about life and my day to day experiences.

Almost 18 years ago, my life took a change of course and I needed to get to work.  I sat with some girlfriends at the Pasadena California Pizza Kitchen one afternoon and did a brainstorming session on a paper napkin.  The subject was possible jobs.  One of my friends suggested photography... I really couldn't believe at that point that anyone would pay me to do something that I already loved but had no formal training in.  That's how it all started.  Those friends took the pictures that I took of their kids to every meeting they went to and since then it's almost all been word of mouth.

After photographing people for many years, I also started doing interior photography around 2010.  Since then, I've photographed many beautiful spaces, residential and commercial.

I believe that through pictures, we are creating family treasures for generations to come.  I am so honored that clients (I prefer to call them friends) trust me enough to bring in in to their most intimate zone - their family.  I have so much respect for the huge privilege that I'm given as the person who is capturing these moments for them.  Whatever the session involves, I will honor everyone's privacy and do my utmost to make it a positive and easy experience for all of us.  The best compliment at the end of a session is to hear how painless it was!

I was born and raised in Southern California and got my degree at USC.  I now live in Montana and am enjoying open spaces and a little more downtime.
